Class Starts
Participant Requirements
- Age 7-18 (as of 4/1/2026)
- Coding experience required or by approval:
- Age 7-9: Scratch Beginner 2
- Age 10-12: Python Junior 1
- Age 13–18: Python 101
- Previous Minecraft Education Coding Class
- If you have not taken a Minecraft Education Coding class, we require at least a 2-hours class or by approval. This class does not need to be taken before registering for the team or before the first meeting.
Minecraft Cup Optional Coding Classes
Before each meeting we will have optional 1-hour coding lessons. These lessons give students an opportunity to work with coding teachers on their code projects, in a small class, away from a lot of the distractions from the team meetings.
