AI Fluency is a hands-on program where students learn how to think, create, explore, and solve problems with AI.
Students learn what AI is, how to use it safely and responsibly, how to ask better questions, and how to evaluate and improve AI responses. The focus is not on letting AI do the work for them. The focus is on helping students think more clearly, create more confidently, and use AI as a powerful tool.
AI is transforming industries including education, business, science, and creative fields.
Learning how to work with AI helps students prepare for future careers and opportunities.
Students learn how to think with AI, not depend on it.
Students learn how to evaluate AI responses, identify mistakes, and improve prompts.
Instead of accepting answers, they learn to question, refine, and improve — building strong thinking skills.
Students use AI to create projects, generate ideas, and solve challenges.
They learn how to turn ideas into real outcomes using AI tools and structured thinking.

Our AI Fluency classes are designed for different age groups and experience levels.
Students progress from guided learning to more independent AI development.
In this fun, hands-on class, students learn what AI is, explore different types of AI—including machine learning and generative AI—and learn how to use AI safely and responsibly. Kids are introduced to AI as a tool that can support learning and creativity, not replace thinking.
Through carefully guided, age-appropriate activities, students use AI to ask better questions, explore ideas, solve simple challenges, and assist in creative projects. The emphasis is on students’ own ideas and creativity—AI is used to help augment, refine, and improve their work.
Students develop essential computational and analytical thinking skills. They learn how to evaluate AI responses, recognize when something doesn’t make sense, and refine their input to get better results.
The objective of the AI Fluency series of classes is to help students develop a strong foundation in understanding and using AI thoughtfully, responsibly, and creatively.
Students are taught to use AI in an iterative feedback loop—asking questions, reviewing responses, making improvements, and trying again—so they build a deeper understanding of the topic and truly understand how AI works.
As AI becomes a normal part of school, work, and everyday life, students who know how to ask good questions, evaluate AI responses, and use AI as a support tool—not a replacement for thinking—will have a major advantage.
These core classes for ages 7-9 can be taken in any order, but we recommend starting with AI Fluency: AI for Kids.
In this engaging, hands-on class, students learn what AI is, explore different types of AI—including machine learning, generative AI, and neural networks—and learn how to use AI safely, responsibly, and ethically. Students are introduced to AI as a powerful tool that can support learning and creativity, not replace thinking.
Through carefully guided, age-appropriate activities, students use AI to ask better questions, explore ideas, solve increasingly complex challenges, and assist in creative and research-based projects. The emphasis is on students’ own ideas and reasoning—AI is used to help augment, refine, and improve their work.
Students develop computational, analytical, and practical AI workflow skills. They learn the basics of prompt engineering, how to evaluate AI responses, recognize when something doesn’t make sense, and iteratively improve prompts to get better results.
Ages 10–12
Students focus on structured exploration, creative projects, and learning how to guide AI effectively. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, prompt clarity, and understanding AI limitations.
Ages 13–18
Students dive deeper into AI systems, ethical considerations, research workflows, and real-world applications. Projects emphasize independent thinking, advanced prompt strategies, and preparation for academic, technical, or entrepreneurial pathways.
